Edward,our guide Anders,and Iwere on the Fjeld.

We were looking forreindeer.

It wasnot a very long time ago.

How did weget there?

First,we went to the Sogne Fjordin a boat.

Then,we drove up the valleyin small carriages.

We droveuntil we were tired.

After that,we walked.

Nowit was 3:00 P.M.We were walkingto a small mountain hut.

We wanted to sleep therefor the night.

On this first day,we did not thinkwe would see deer.

We walked slowlyover the stones.

The side of the mountainwas above us.
